Shala valley has is the most reachable mineral area of the Balkan and wide, because it has more than 20 million ton of mineral reserves. On the other hand, this valley has around 47 small villages. Some of them has been populated since ancient times.
This area has beautiful landscapes and and its visited during the all seasons. Shala valley is connected with Kopanik mountains and there are lot of places for picnics, hiking, mountain sports and traditional food. Most visited villages are: Selac, Bistrice and Bajgora.
